Pairs Well With Business

After attending Dalhousie and York University my career began as accounting manager for a small business that ventured in to a newly sought after market of providing short term accommodations for executives within the Toronto landscape. Having a skill for sales and team management, I worked side by side with the owner developing the largest furnished housing provider in the GTA over a 9 year period.   Realizing the opportunity and benefit of nurturing relationships and network, I fostered the first network across Canada for cross booking, a standard practice used by most industry partners today.   This developed into being the previous owner and operator of one of the largest Corporate Housing Brokerages in North America built from scratch nurturing a long standing team of 18 years plus incurring over 4.5 million in sales annually with an international corporate client base.  I have been graced with many long standing professional and personal long standing close relationships.

I've always been a "go getter" and a problem solver with a unique way of looking outside of the box. I thrive on challenging situations which force me to bring positive resolution. Operating and managing a family owned catering and banquet hall business for many many years, gave me years of professional experience and an appreciation and value for teamwork.  I am a proud mother of two teenaged boys, albeit facing many challenges and enduring the responsibility of life changing decisions for the betterment of may family, I continue to strive on improving my personal and professional growth.
